Our Founder

Uriah Steber is the visionary behind Benchmark Trails. A veteran of the US Army's 82nd Airborne Division and an Infantry Paratrooper, Uriah's commitment to excellence and strong work ethic, honed during his military service, are the foundations upon which he has built his company.

After moving to Pierre, South Dakota, in 2015, Uriah established Benchmark Trails in 2022 to fulfill a growing need for professional trail construction and design, especially focused on natural surface and downhill "flow trails" for bikers.

With extensive experience working with government agencies, private landowners, and non-profit organizations, we are equipped to handle projects of any scale.
